Description
Rear wheel nut for Piaggio and Gilera scooters, made by RMS. The nut screws onto the end of the rear wheel axle and clamps the wheel against the hub.

Good to know
The axle nut is subjected to high torque, so it must be tightened with a torque wrench to the manufacturer's specification. If the nut is self-locking, it is better not to reuse it – after being removed a few times it loses its locking properties.
