Starter bendex

Starter bendix for Minarelli engines from TNT. The bendix is the intermediate drive between the electric starter and the engine: it engages when the starter runs and disengages once the engine has started.

The main sign of a worn bendix is that the starter whirrs but does not turn the engine, or you hear the teeth clattering. Before fitting a new bendix, clean off the old grease and dirt.
