Description
Polini variator sliders (guide shoes) are an important CVT transmission part that ensures smooth variator operation and precise ratio changes. They are fitted to the variator ramp plate and reduce friction and play while the variator is working.
Made from a plastic that resists high temperatures and wear, Polini sliders cope well with high revs and sporty use. Thanks to their precise manufacture, the variator runs more steadily, vibration is reduced and acceleration becomes smoother.
Worn sliders often cause variator play, unusual noises or uneven running, so it is recommended to replace them together with the rollers or belt when servicing the transmission.
Fits the following Polini variators:

Also compatible with some OEM and performance Minarelli / Piaggio-type variators, if the same slider size is used.
