Angel Scooter features
The Angel Scooter is a Pirelli scooter tyre designed for everyday riding in town and out of town. It is designed to grip well on both dry and wet tarmac and to wear evenly. It suits mid-size and larger scooters with 13 inch wheels.
Fitting and pressure
When fitting the tyre, follow the arrow on the sidewall – it shows the direction of rotation. After fitting, balance the wheel, replace the valve and inflate to the pressure specified by the manufacturer. Check the pressure at least once a month while the tyres are cold, as low pressure speeds up wear and worsens handling.

When should I replace a scooter tyre?
When the tread has worn down to the wear indicators, cracks appear in the sidewalls or the rubber has hardened with age. The date of manufacture is given by the last four digits of the DOT code – the week and year.
Does the wheel need balancing after a tyre change?
Yes, it is recommended. An unbalanced wheel causes handlebar vibration at higher speeds and wears the tyre and bearings faster. Balancing uses small weights stuck to the rim.
