Synthetic or semi-synthetic
IPONE oil names indicate the base: 100% synthetic oils (e.g. Stroke 4, Katana, Samourai Racing) are designed for high revs and sport, semi-synthetic ones (10.4, 20.5, ATV R4000) for everyday use. Choose the viscosity (10W40, 20W50) according to the motorcycle manufacturer's recommendation.
Chain care
X-Trem Chain Road is designed for road motorcycles, Off-Road for motocross and enduro, where the chain is constantly dirty. Clean the chain first, then lubricate the inner side while it is warm and let the lube soak in. The kits (750+750 ml) contain a cleaner and a lube.
Service kits
ALL-IN-ONE kits for CFMOTO ATVs are made up of the several oils needed for a service, so you don't have to look for each one separately. The kit contents are given in the name (e.g. 3+1, 3+2) – check that they meet your model's service requirements.
Frequently asked questions
Which IPONE oil should I choose for my scooter?
A two-stroke scooter needs 2T oil – for a performance engine a synthetic one such as Samourai Racing is suitable. For a four-stroke scooter, choose a 4T oil with the viscosity specified by the manufacturer. If in doubt, email your model to info@scootershop.lt – we'll advise you.
What is the difference between IPONE 10.4 and Stroke 4?
Both are 10W40 4T oils, but 10.4 is semi-synthetic, designed for everyday riding, while Stroke 4 is 100% synthetic and copes better with high loads and temperatures.
How often should I lubricate the chain?
On a road motorcycle, roughly every 500–700 km and after every ride in the rain. When riding off-road, it is worth cleaning and lubricating the chain after every ride, as mud and sand quickly wear the chain and sprockets.
Can Helmet In be used every time?
Yes, the helmet interior cleaner is designed for regular care – it freshens and cleans the lining without removing it. Even so, if the lining is removable, it is worth washing it occasionally according to the helmet manufacturer's instructions.
