Description

ATV winch hook – Universal, extra strong

Tow loads or recover your quad safely and reliably with this universal ATV winch hook. It is a critical component that connects your winch cable to the anchor point, so it has to be as durable as possible. This hook is designed to withstand high mechanical loads and is compatible with most popular quad winch models.

Why is this ATV hook the best choice?

  • High strength: Made from top-grade hardened steel, the hook resists deformation and breakage even under extreme pulling loads. That gives you peace of mind when working in the forest or pulling a stuck quad out of the mud.

  • Versatility: The hook suits various types of cable (both steel and synthetic) and is compatible with most ATV/UTV winches, regardless of their pulling capacity.

  • Protective coating: The surface has a corrosion-resistant coating that protects the metal from rust, even if the hook is constantly exposed to moisture, mud or snow.

  • Built-in safety latch: The hook has a spring-loaded safety latch that stops the cable or strap slipping out of the hook during use, avoiding dangerous situations.

Expert tips for safe use:

  1. Check the latch: Before every use, make sure the spring-loaded latch moves smoothly and closes firmly against the tip of the hook. It is your main safety feature.

  2. Don't load the tip: When pulling, keep the strap or chain at the bottom of the hook (in the throat). Hooking it on the very tip can overload the hook and deform it.

  3. Use a rubber stopper: If you use a steel cable, we recommend fitting a rubber hook stopper on it. It protects the winch fairlead (opening) from impacts when you wind the cable fully in.

  4. Inspect after use: After every heavy pull, check the hook for cracks or visible deformation. If you notice any changes, the hook must be replaced with a new one.
