Description
Sport exhaust Giannelli Extra V2 – Honda Bali / SFX / X8R
The Giannelli Extra V2 is one of the most popular sport exhausts for 50cc scooters. It is an excellent choice for those who want a bit more power and better acceleration without sacrificing the scooter's everyday reliability.
Why choose the Giannelli Extra V2?
-
Better dynamics: This exhaust is designed to optimise the flow of exhaust gases. This lets the engine "breathe" more easily, so the scooter's acceleration and throttle response improve noticeably.
-
Suitable for "Sport" class tuning: It pairs perfectly with both the original 50cc cylinder and popular 70cc "Sport" class cylinder kits.
-
Quality construction: The V2 version features an improved expansion chamber and a quality aluminium silencer end, giving a "sportier" sound and look.
-
Homologation: Most Giannelli Extra V2 models have E-approval (homologation), which means they meet certain noise and emission standards (check the markings on the specific package).

Important recommendations after fitting:
-
Carburettor adjustment (ESSENTIAL): With a sport exhaust fitted, more air enters the engine, so the factory fuel mixture setting will no longer be enough. You must fit a bigger carburettor main jet (usually around 5–10% larger than standard), otherwise you risk "overheating" the piston and ruining the cylinder because of a mixture that is too lean.
-
Variator setup: To make the most of the exhaust's potential, you will need lighter variator weights than the factory ones. A sport exhaust "shifts" the power band to higher revs, so lighter weights let the engine reach those revs faster.
-
Clutch springs: If you feel the scooter "slips" at first when pulling away or the revs build sluggishly, we recommend fitting slightly stiffer clutch springs.
