Stage6 is a German brand that has been making tuning parts for 50 cc scooters and mopeds since 2004, with its R/T line designed for top-level performance engines. In the Scootershop catalogue you will find Stage6 reed valves, brake pads and calipers, cylinder kits for Minarelli horizontal engines, pistons, sport air filters for PWK carburettors and grips. Stage6 and Stage6 R/T
The Stage6 range is made up of several lines: cosmetic parts (grips, mirrors), tuning parts for everyday and sporty riding, and R/T – the racing line. R/T parts are designed for very heavily tuned engines, and some of them are not intended for use on public roads.
How to choose by engine
Stage6 parts are made for a specific engine family: Minarelli horizontal (Yamaha Aerox, MBK Nitro), Minarelli vertical (Yamaha BWS, MBK Booster), Minarelli AM6, Piaggio/Gilera. Before buying, identify your engine by the cylinder position and engine number – even scooters from the same manufacturer can have different engines.
Put parts together as a package
A larger cylinder will not show what it can do without a matching carburettor, air filter, exhaust and variator set-up. A performance ignition, a reinforced crankshaft and a clutch are parts worth planning together with the cylinder so that the engine runs reliably.

Are Stage6 parts suitable for my scooter?
Compatibility is determined by the engine family, not the scooter's name – the product name gives it, e.g. Minarelli horizontal or Piaggio/Gilera. If you don't know your engine, email your model and year to info@scootershop.lt or call +370 608 07699.
How does Stage6 R/T differ from regular Stage6 parts?
R/T is the Stage6 racing line, designed for high-revving performance and racing engines. Regular Stage6 parts are suitable for everyday use and light tuning, whereas R/T parts often need other prepared engine components as well.
Can I ride on the road with R/T parts?
Some R/T products are intended only for sport and closed circuits, as they change the power output and noise level. Before fitting, consider whether the scooter will still meet registration and road traffic requirements after the modifications.
Is a performance ignition essential with a new cylinder?
It is not essential, but a performance ignition lets the engine rev higher and allows more precise ignition timing. With a larger-capacity cylinder and a sport exhaust it often makes a noticeable difference.
