Compatibility by model and year
Scooter body panels are made for a specific model and generation. The Yamaha BWS / MBK Booster received new bodywork in 2004, so its panels will not fit the older model, and the bodywork of different Yamaha Aerox generations also differs. Before ordering, check your scooter's year of manufacture in the registration document.
Fitting and painting
Before fitting new body panels, check that the original brackets and frame mounting points are intact. Tighten the screws moderately – an overtightened screw can crack the plastic. If you plan to paint the panels, degrease the surface first and use a primer designed for plastic.
